Northern Maine has set record snowfall for this year. Measurements at Caribou were as high as 182.5 inches of snow in this season alone, breaking the old record of 181 inches. Thats alot of snow!!

Maine is known for its 100+ inches of snow each year. People come
from all over the country to ride the Maine Snowmobile System of
Trails. The 2005 International Snowmobilers Festival was attended
by writers from Supertrax Magazine, based out of Minnesota. They
had a wonderful time! We have the best snowmobiling around.
Each year on the first weekend in February, Madawaska and
Edmundston NB host the International Snowmobilers Festival. On this
weekend, for a small fee ($20), riders can enjoy both sides of the
border, and the wonderful trails they have to offer. It is a fun
filled weekend for all to enjoy! This years festival will
be on February 3,4,and 5, 2006. Keep checking this site for
